Establishes the Montana Military Family Relief Fund; creates an account in the state special revenue fund for use by the fund;
authorizes the award of status-based, needs-based, and casualty-based grants; establishes ineligibility criteria for grants; requires the
Department of Military Affairs to adopt rules to implement and administer the fund; provides for a voluntary income tax checkoff for
the fund; provides a statutory appropriation; provides a transfer of funds to the fund.
